Recycling that makes sense
There are great savings in reusing your rinse and cleaning solvent from the painting process. On the one hand, you save the costs of disposing of the used solvent, and on the other hand, you save significant expenses on the purchase of new, expensive solvents.
Our distillers can clean the used paint mixed solvent of paint residue so that the solvent can be reused. This saves you money and reduces your CO footprint.
The process itself is a relatively simple distillation process, where paint residues, polymers, pigments and other impurities are separated from the solvent. This is done by bringing the solvent to the boiling point via a heating jacket filled with diathermic oil. From here, the vapor is passed on to a condenser, which is cooled with either air or water.
Our calculations show that the investment in a 15-litre distiller is typically recouped after just over a year.
